Montreal’s Signature Winter Festival, WRG Classic presented by lululemon Celebrates hockey culture for the 5th year!

WRG Classic presented by lululemon, 5th annual festival will be held on Saturday, February 17th from 9:00 AM- 5 PM at Parc Ignace-Bourget (Sud-Ouest Montreal, H4E 2V6). This marks the third year of the WRG Classic and lululemon partnership, providing both brands the opportunity to create a festival that inspires and unites individuals within their community.

The festival will attract hockey enthusiasts, families and influencers from across the city, as the invitational hockey games will be played throughout the day. This free community festival is inspired by early 20th century fashion; players and spectators will be sporting collared shirts, bow-ties, cloche hats, flapper-style dresses and waistcoats, generating an authentic ambience.

The player pool consists of prominent community leaders and Montreal influencers. With a total of 44 players and 4 teams, the 2018 edition includes players such as Jojo Flores (International DJ) and Kevin Demers (owner of The Cold Room).

Spectators will be able to indulge in fresh eats and beverages that will be sold on-site by local merchants and participate in curated winter activities throughout the day. Additionally, enjoy live entertainment, a free skating session after the final game and a chance to scoop customized Hockey Classic gear at the exclusive WRG x lululemon pop up shop, while taking part in Montreal’s very own winter hockey festival.
